Time, price and the cut

A cut takes about an hour if your hair is not especially thick, long or thin. It depends on the style, and some cuts take one and a half to two hours.

The price depends mostly on the length and thickness of your hair, and on how difficult the style is. Short hair starts at 400 baht. Usually a cut is 400 to 500 baht, and 600 to 700 baht for longer, thicker hair than usual.

We wash your hair first, then you choose the style. If you don’t have a style in mind yet, your stylist may suggest several styles with pictures, so you can decide before we start cutting.

We cut all hair, frizzy and wavy hair included. If there is something we can’t do or aren’t good at, we say so. If your hair is frizzy and the style you choose needs setting, we tell you before cutting that without blow drying or a flat iron, it won’t look the way you want.

At the mirror after a cut, a doubt often shows as a flat “yes”, a pause or a long look, and once the cape comes off and we ask whether you like it, agreeing is easier than disagreeing. So if something is not right, say it in words while you are still in the chair, and we can put it right the same day. If you can’t find the word for something, point to it on your own hair.

If something only bothers you later, come back. We put it right and talk it over with you to find out why.

After your cut: the ends of your hair

Loosen tangles at the ends first

Your hair tangles most at the ends, and pulling a comb through a tangle rubs and twists the hair there, which makes split ends more likely. Work the tangle loose before you comb through it.
