HAIR & BEAUTY SALON

Privacy notice

This is the privacy notice of Hair & Beauty Salon in Chiang Mai. It explains what happens to your personal data when you use this website, call or message us, or book an appointment, and what rights you have over that data.

Who is in charge of your data

Hair & Beauty Salon is owned by Niphaphan Weroha. She is the data controller for the personal data we receive, as this page describes it. The law uses that term for the person who decides what happens to personal data.

You can reach her about your data at the salon, 18/4 Rat Chiang Saen Rd, Tambon Hai Ya, Chiang Mai 50100, or by phone on 063 616 0853.

What this website does with your data

This website has no contact form, no account and no newsletter. It runs no analytics script, and the site sets no cookies. Its fonts are served from the site itself.

To show you a page, the company that hosts this website receives the technical data your browser sends with every request, such as your IP address. It handles that data under its own terms.

The map on some pages loads from Google Maps only when you choose to show it. Until you do, this website sends no request to Google. After the map has loaded, Google receives the data a browser sends to any Google Maps page, including the web address of this website (without the page you opened it on), and Google’s privacy policy applies to what it does with that data. Links to Google Maps, such as the directions link, open Google Maps in a new tab, and the same policy applies there.

The links to our Facebook page and to our LINE and WhatsApp accounts open Facebook, LINE or WhatsApp, and their own privacy policies apply there: Meta’s privacy policy, LINE’s privacy policy and WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

When you call or message us

If you phone us, we receive your phone number, unless you hide it, and what you tell us on the call.

If you message us on LINE or WhatsApp, we receive your message and the account details the app shows us. The company behind the app handles your data as well, under LINE’s privacy policy or WhatsApp’s privacy policy.

If you email us, we receive your message, your email address and any name your email account sends with it. We use a Gmail address, so Google, the company behind Gmail, handles your email as well, under Google’s privacy policy.

If you message us on Messenger through our Facebook page, we receive your message and the account details Facebook shows us. Meta, the company behind Facebook and Messenger, handles your data as well, under Meta’s privacy policy.

Booking online

When you book on Fresha, Fresha handles the booking data you enter, under Fresha’s privacy policy. We receive the booking and the contact details Fresha passes on to us, so that we can carry it out.

Why we use your data

We use the details from a call or message to answer you and, when you ask for an appointment, to arrange it. We also use your phone number, and your LINE or WhatsApp if you message us there, to remind you of your appointment. To make a booking we need the booking details you give us. Without them we cannot arrange the appointment. The law allows this without asking for your consent, because you ask us for the appointment and we need the details to give it.

The technical data from your browser is used to deliver the pages to you. For that we rely on our own interest in running a website that works, which the law allows unless your rights outweigh that interest.

We offer the map and the links to Google Maps so that you can find the salon. Using them is your choice, made by clicking.

What we keep and for how long

From a call or message we keep the name you leave and your phone number, and your LINE or WhatsApp if you message us there. We write nothing else down about you, before, during or after your visit, and there is no camera in the salon. We have not set a period after which we delete these details, so we keep them until you ask us to erase them.

How long the other companies keep the data they receive is set by their own policies.

Who receives your data

Besides us, these companies can receive your data: the company that hosts this website; Google, if you load the map, open a link to Google Maps or email us; Meta, if you open our Facebook page or message us on Messenger; and the messaging or booking service you choose to use. We ourselves pass your details on to no one else.

Some of these companies are international. Their own policies explain where they process data, and that can be outside Thailand.

Your rights

Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act gives you these rights over your personal data:

  • You can withdraw a consent you have given, at any time.
  • You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, to get a copy, and to be told how we obtained any of it that you did not consent to.
  • You can ask to receive your data in a common format that a computer can read, and to have it sent to another organisation where that is technically possible.
  • You can object to the collection, use or sharing of your data in the cases the law lists.
  • You can ask us to erase or destroy your data, or to anonymise it so that it no longer identifies you, in the cases the law lists.
  • You can ask us to limit how we use your data in the cases the law lists.
  • You can ask us to correct data that is wrong, out of date, incomplete or misleading.
  • You can complain to Thailand’s data protection authority if you think we or a company working for us have broken the law on personal data.

The law sets limits on some of these rights.

How to use your rights

To use any of these rights except the complaint, call us on 063 616 0853 or come to the salon.
